Mr. Joe Ireland is the President, and Chief Financial Officer of Lone Star Securities, Inc., a National Association of Securities Dealers broker-dealer member firm. He is also the managing member of Harbor Resources, L.L.C. Mr. Ireland attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas for four years, majoring in business. While at Texas Tech, he was managing partner of an amusement vending company which was sold in 1969. In 1970, he became associated with Goodacre-Day Real Estate of Lubbock, Texas as a licensed real estate agent. He remained with that company until he formed his own real estate company in 1975, Joe Ireland Realtors, Inc.

In 1980, Mr. Ireland sold his real estate company to enter the petroleum industry as an independent petroleum landman for Jones and Lyons Oil Properties of San Angelo, Texas. While with Jones and Lyons, he purchased oil and gas leases for major independent oil companies in Arkansas and Texas. In 1984, Mr. Ireland accepted the position as Vice-President of an oil company in Abilene, Texas, J&R Petroleum, Inc., where he was in charge of investor relations, assisted in the organization and structure of drilling programs, and the daily management of the company’s business. Mr. Ireland resigned in 1985 to form Sands Petroleum, Inc., which, like Harbor Resources, L.L.C., sponsored drilling programs for participation by industry and other investors. Mr. Ireland directed all operations of the company, including coordinating the acquisition of oil and gas leases (primarily in west central Texas), funding, drilling, completion and operation of all wells associated with the leases and the programs sponsored by Sands Petroleum, Inc.

Mr. Ireland formed Lone Star Securities, Inc. in 1987.
